I offer professional design services drawing from fifteen years of international experience to create abundant and beautiful landscapes. Having a design for your project provides a pragmatic plan for logical implementation, makes the most of your resources and gives you a clear road map to avoid the usual errors.
Each project is unique with its own set of characteristic, objectives and challenges. The design process starts with observations and questions, this provides clarity that can then filter through to decision making at all levels which stream lines the development of a project with clarity, efficiency and joy.
I use the Permaculture design process and the scale of permanence to go from patterns to details in a very logical order to create a robust designs that meet the characteristic and objectives of the project.
I have designed a range of properties in different countries from 120 Hectare projects that were presented to the European commission to boutique eco tourism projects all the way through to eco villages and plant medicine retreat centres.

What is Permaculture?
Permaculture is practical design process with ethics and principles based on observations of natural ecosystems that guide us to work with nature and thrive. It is a whole system design process that often include solutions for food and energy production, shelter, resource management, nature conservation and community living. It draws from traditional knowledge and can be practiced in many contexts.
How much does a design cost?
On average my designs cost between 3000 to 7000 euros. That is a general guide but it can cost more or less depending on the size of the property, location and level of detail.
Can you implement the design?
Yes, often it is most beneficial for me to help implement the big picture design; for example guiding earth moving machines to prepare sites for building, dig pools and create roads and paths. I also specialise in sustainable dome building. For certain elements it make sense for clients to hire local people or implement it them selves.
On line design?
Over the last five years I have developed a process for working with people on line. My design process has always been very inclusive as experience has taught me that this leads to better designs. I have worked with several clients who share with me key information and together we co created digital designs so my clients can get started with implementation. I also offer on going on line support to my clients.
