The benefits of domes?
> The form of a dome is very strong and uses less materials than conventional buildings yet outperform them in structural tests, great for hurricane and seismic zones.
> They mirror the suns path maximising solar gain.
> No separate roof structure is required, saving time and money.
> Domes are spacious, healing structures with a unique beauty.
> Domes are efficient, covering the most living area with the least amount of surface area.
> Domes require less energy to heat and cool because they circulate air effectively and maintain even temperatures. This combined with 15 - 25cm of aircrete insulation makes them extremely efficient structures with low running costs.

Some words from our lead designer Matthew
I have been obsessed with domes for the last fourteen years, in 2012 I designed and built the worlds first 100% aircrete dome home in Turkey.
I have created seven different bespoke dome home designs and lead the build for the majority of these in different climates and collaborating with a range of highly skilled professionals. This coupled with my clear evaluation process has led to my design process and technical insights being honed.
A balance between beauty and practicality is integrated into my designs through the insights gained from designing and building my own dome home in Turkey and living there long term with my family.
The needs of my clients are at the centre of my design process, the outcomes are one of a kind beautiful dome homes that meet the unique lifestyle of my clients. You can read about the positive experience of fifteen of my previous clients here.
I have worked with sacred geometry as a key part of the design for my house that I am currently building 40KM south of Barcelona, see photo realistic renders below, it is the first officially permitted Air crete dome home in Europe. Sacred geometry offers both healing and spiritual benefits which include feeling centered as well as higher levels of focus and concentration.
